There has been a modest increase in demand over the past two years for daily essentials like food, and this has spiked to about 45% in each of the last three months due to the higher costs of living. We know it’s been hard to afford usual essentials.
That is why as part of our official grand opening, we at Myers Barrhaven Volkswagen were happy to donate $100 from every vehicle sold in the month of June to the Barrhaven Food Cupboard.
After all, it’s all about neighbours helping neighbours.
Together we raised a total of $3,760 so far in our Health Check for change initiative.
