Never Lacking
“The Palisade, and its corporate sibling, the Kia Telluride, might be the best value in the class. Everything is top-notch, from the driving experience to the interior quality to the standard and optional features. Even the base model seems to give you a bit extra, and in the top trims you get a near-luxury experience.” – Cameron Rogers, Edmunds
The 2023 Hyundai Palisade has received rave reviews since it was introduced in 2020, and it continues to stun experts and drivers alike. After making such a strong and agreeable first impression, changing anything on the Palisade might have increased its detractors. However, just the opposite is true.
For 2023, Hyundai provided a slight facelift for the Palisade, giving it a more modern and squared-off appearance. The SUV receives a new front and rear bumper fascia, a new front grille, new headlight design, and new wheel designs that allows it to fall in line better with the brand’s design language. The interior received a refresh as well, thanks to a redesigned steering wheel, updated upholstery options, higher-resolution infotainment display, and new features.

Comfortable Yet Powerful
“The Hyundai Palisade does an excellent job of providing a minivan-like driving experience in the form of an SUV. That’s not a bad thing — this is a comfortable family cruiser on city streets and highway road trips.” – Eric Brandt, KBB
Hyundai powers the 2023 Palisade with a 3.8-litre V6 engine paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and either front- or all-wheel drive. Delivering 291 horsepower, the Palisade offers more-than-adequate acceleration in all driving situations, including merging onto highways and when climbing hills. This power translates to up to 2,287 kg of towing capability.

But perhaps the best part of driving the 2023 Hyundai Palisade is that it does not feel like driving an SUV at all. The driving experience is smooth, and the handling is responsive. With this well-rounded and competent skill set, the Palisade is stress-free to drive.
Stylish and Sumptuous
“The 2023 Hyundai Palisade is an exceptionally comfortable SUV. It offers seating for seven or eight passengers, and it earns a 9 on our scale thanks to its terrific front seats, good second row, impressive cargo space, and quality feel.” – Robert Duffer, The Car Connection

Inside its spacious cabin, the 2023 Hyundai Palisade can hold up to eight passengers, depending on the model level chosen. Whether you opt for second-row captain’s chairs or a second-row bench seat, all three rows have plenty of space, and the third row is easy to access. Behind the third row is 510 litres of cargo space, but cargo volume increases to over 2,400 litres with all the seats folded.
The Palisade’s technology features have been updated for 2023, including the 12.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display that includes Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, in-dash navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth connectivity on all trim levels. Safety is also of utmost priority. The Palisade includes key safety features such as automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous driving mode.

A Great Value and Choice
The Hyundai Palisade has been a great mid-size SUV since its debut, but with updated exterior styling and more standard technology features than ever before, the 2023 model is the cream of the crop.
