Hyundai is revamping the midsize crossover to give it a boxier silhouette and a more capable stance on the road. The new model features an extended wheelbase and enhanced cargo area, adding a touch of style and sophistication to the design while maintaining a chic and cool look.

Eye-balling the all-new Santa Fe, one gets a sense of muscularity – a vehicle capable of handling punishing off-road environments. The specific dimensions of the new Hyundai aren’t yet known, but the automaker says it will be roomier than the previous iteration. That means its wheelbase will likely be more than 108.9 inches, the length of the current model.
Head of Hyundai’s global design team, SangYup Lee, said the company designed the rear as a “terrace-like tailgate space” to accommodate diverse lifestyles. Families on school runs, surfers, and people who want to go on thrilling camping adventures will all love the vehicle.

The front of the vehicle is perhaps the most modified and captivating part of the design. Hyundai now equips it with H-shaped headlights to reflect its badge, with complementary bumper design and more branding. The rear also features the same lamp style, completing the symphony of style.
The roofline of the new Sante Fe is sharper, boxier, and more defined than the previous iteration. Hyundai has done away with the generic sweeping lines of the old vehicle and replaced them with something more distinctive. The defined wheel arches add a touch of flair, while the stumpier front overhang reveals the vehicle’s latent off-roading capabilities.
Analysts predict the new Santa Fe will improve on the existing one’s 72.1 cubic feet of cargo space behind the front seats. The higher roofline and (presumably) longer wheelbase will contribute to this, helping the vehicle achieve its goal of exceeding the 73.4 cubic square feet of cargo space the Tiguan offers, a close competitor.

The delights aren’t limited to the exterior, though. Hyundai also promises an array of interior features, too, including a high-tech panoramic display, a digital 12.3-inch instruments cluster, and an industry-leading infotainment interface.
Hyundai will also boldly move into the luxury space, offering the new Sante Fe in premium trims. Wood-patterned garnishes and Nappa leather seat upholstery will be available for those willing to buy the premium models. Eco-friendly and sustainable materials will also be an option, according to the brand.
