Driving Performance

The Lyriq is available in either rear-wheel or all-wheel driver versions. The RWD option offers 505 km of GM-estimated range and delivers over 340 hp via its 102 kWh battery and single-drive motor. The AWD version has a 494 km GM-estimated range on full charge and produces over 500 hp with a 102 kWh battery and dual drive motors.

To achieve this high level of performance, Cadillac built the Lyriq on the Ultium EV battery platform. The manufacturing process offers groundbreaking changes in how the automaker engineers electric vehicles.

For example, the 2024 Lyriq’s AWD system has dual motors for all four wheels. This results in added power and capability while trailering and more confidence during inclement weather.

The battery design for RWD and AWD versions also distributes the weight evenly across the vehicle’s footprint. This approach facilitates a lower centre of gravity for sportier, more responsive driving. The five-link front and rear suspension adds to the sense of control, allowing drivers to take advantage of all GM-estimated 340 hp on the RWD model, and 500 hp on the AWD models.

Trim Levels

The 2024 Lyriq comes in three trim levels: Tech, Luxury, and Sport.

Tech is designed for modern life and comes with a 505 km-range battery, Cadillac Smart System suite of safety and driver assistance features, and a 33-inch diagonal LED display as standard. You also get one-pedal driving, Google built-in, and wireless phone charging included in the price.

The Luxury version brings additional features, such as 19.2 kW AC charging, a panoramic power-opening sunroof, and an AKG Studio 19-speaker audio system. There’s also the option of using Super Cruise driver assistance technology on selected highways and front seat ventilation with lumbar massage.

The Sport model includes all the Luxury features plus sportier design elements, such as Obsidian chrome and dark accent finishes, an illuminated front grille, and body-colour door handles. The vehicle looks and feels impressive on the road.

Packages

To enhance the driving experience, Cadillac makes the 2024 Lyriq available in various packages.

For instance, the Driver Assistance Package offers HD surround vision, rear pedestrian alert, side bicyclist alert, enhanced automatic parking assist, and intersection automatic braking. The package is available in Tech trim and comes as standard on Luxury and Sports trims.

You can also upgrade to the AKG Audio & Comfort package. It includes the AKG speaker system described above, active noise cancellation, power flat-folding second-row 60/40 seatbacks, and out-touch folding seats.
